Those who are participating in NaNoWriMo don’t ever forget that your writing is going to come easy at all times. And when it doesn’t, don’t waver or give in. Who’s to say that you’ll pick up the pen again once you put it down.

Last night I was tired.  I fell asleep at the laptop three or four times.  I was fairly sure I was writing gibberish at one stage, but I know from experience that you can’t give up.  You can’t miss one day, or you’ll be buried under the weight of unwritten words.

Yes, I’m talking about NaNoWriMo again.

Usually I like battle scenes, but I just couldn’t get it right.  I kept on coming up against dead ends, then I would have to go back and rewrite to find a way around it.  I’d type solidly for a few minutes more, and then . . . dead end again.

Sometimes it’s like that.  I’ve lived it before.  And I’m actually ahead of schedule, but I happen to think it’s a bad idea to stop when you’re having a bad day.  How are you ever going to…
